Bursa Technical University was founded as the second state university in Bursa following the Council of Ministers' decree, which was published in the official gazette on 21.07.2010 with the number 27648. The University has six faculties, two institutes, and a school of foreign languages. There is an academic preparatory class that gives education in the English language at a high level. The education language of the following courses after the preparatory class is 30% in English. Our vision is to become a global university that meets its partners' expectations regarding knowledge, technology, social and artistic value production, and making these values useable. According to our mission, we aim to educate our students so they can produce research, knowledge, technology, social and artistic value and develop the skill to apply what they have produced to real life and become individuals who can shape the future. The logo of Bursa Technical University was created with inspiration from the urban fabric and the colors of Bursa city. The outermost circular form repeats itself inside the logo, and in the upper part of the space between these two circles, the name of the University is written with small fonts. The silhouette of Uludağ exists in the lower part of the inner circle. The very light blue color above the mountain represents the sky, and the color fades in the middle. The navy blue colored icon in the middle represents atom and energy. Moreover, the forms which exist in each spiral look like human, and these forms repeat themselves at certain intervals, representing synergy and unity. The University Administrative Board is comprised of the Rector as chairperson, deans, and three professors elected by the Academic Council for four years to represent the divisions of the University.The Administrative Board of the University is a body that assists.
