Baden Powell is a community primary school where children from 3-11 yrs receive a broad and balanced curriculum mainly in the medium of English. Welsh as a second language is taught throughout the entire school. The school provides daily acts of worship which is broadly Christian but also reflect our rich cultural diversity. This is enforced through weekly religious education sessions as required by the national curriculum. Personal and social education begins with an understanding of self, family, and relationships leading to an education session in year 6. Throughout the school, the broad curriculum is planned a year with termly learning expectations for each subject. This is then further broken down into weekly learning expectations with specific learning opportunities planned for the abilities of every pupil.
