On 4th May 1960, The University Juan Agustín Maza was born as a civil society without means of profits, whose motif, "Horno res sacra homini" (The man is sacred for the man), was the cardinal rule of its development. From that foundational identity, it has run more than half a century of enriching and silent growth, generous in producing graduates of the proven idea, who are the best proof of the work that all its members, whose ideals are, making men and women of goodwill, whose goals are freedom, intellectual independence, humanism, ethical sense, hospitality, and justice. Those people who were students in the past, and now are teachers or authorities can tell of the transformation and growth of the University, that started with two faculties and, now it has two critical venues: Gran Mendoza and Valle de Uco, nine faculties, a high school, and a Language Center. The Language University Center, in its second year of creation, has managed to relate and cooperate with the various careers that are offered in the University. It has doubled the number of students coming to the language courses and has settled its seal in Tunuyàn, a city which is 100 km from Mendoza capital. The Faculty of Engineering has 48 years of experience making successful professionals, with studying programs permanently up-dated orientation and disciplinary tutoring Systems, research, extension, and laboratory scholarships, paid internships, professional practice in companies previously selected by students, supervised by NORMAS ISO 9001/08 Certification carried out by Bureau VERITAS Certification, and a quick job way out. The Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry has 51 years of experience being in the region. Its mission is making professionals with a reliable scientific, technical, and research capacity base. That with a profound ethical sense, they will be able to actively understand the relation science- technology and society. The careers are also given credits by COMEAU, which indicates its obedience with the quality standards that guarantee an excellent professional formation. From the year 1973, it is the unique Faculty of Nutritional Sciences in the province. Its mission is to form professionals with profound scientific knowledge, committed to improving the quality of life of the population, being conscious of their social responsibility, and producing the necessary modifications in the place that favors the well-being. Its academic bachelor programs and postgraduate studies allow our graduates to be placed within the labor force fields. From 1979, through its different academic offer of bachelor's degrees programs and postgraduate programs, the Faculty of Journalism aims at forming professionals that have the tools that let them insert actively and from a protagonist place in the field of communication that nowadays exists. This aim is based on human criteria mainly supported by a team of highly qualified professors, keeping a balance between a solid theoretical base and an intensive practice in managing most modern communicational resources. More than three decades of experience have allowed us to reach a high prestige supported by the acknowledgment achieved regionally, nationally, and internationally. The Faculty of Education pretends to educate on values and attitudes, generating pedagogic reflection spaces, formulating an integral formation of graduates to be able to work in different educational institutions. It has a team of teachers committed to teaching and the conviction that education transforms people's lives. Its graduates are recognized in different places where they develop excellence and creativity because they were prepared for a changing world, full of challenges, difficulties, and new possibilities. The Faculty of Veterinary and Environmental Sciences has the main interest in forming veterinarians with an excellent ethical and professional seal, with a service-orientated aim, able to act, develop, and transfer scientific and technological knowledge to society. The Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Therapy offers an integral formation of ethical and competent professionals in different specialties, who can relate efficiently in an inter and multidisciplinary team, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Besides, it promotes continuous training, research development, and technological transfer according to the present and future society. The Faculty of Business Sciences forms Computing Business Administration and Management professionals, who have a challenging spirit and are eager to do research, are prepared to work efficiently in the different roles that organizations need and can improve the quality of life and the social well being. From 1965, the University Juan Agustín Maza is a pioneer in South America in the formation of generations of enologists whose wines are well-known in international markets. Its prestige recognizes the Faculty of Enology and Agroindustries at the national and international level in the formation of ethical professionals.   2. The University of San Agustin is a private Catholic university in Iloilo City, Philippines. With 40 initial students, it was established in 1904 as a preparatory school for boys by the Spanish Catholic missionaries under the oldest religious Roman Catholic order in the Philippines during the American colonial period, the Order of Saint Augustine (San Agustin).In 1917, it was incorporated and became Colegio de San Agustin de Iloilo. In March 1953, San Agustin attained university status, making it the first university in Western Visayas. San Agustin is the first and only Augustinian university in the Asia-Pacific region. The University of San Agustin now provides programs from Basic Education up to post-graduate studies in Law, Business, Education, Computer Studies, Arts and Sciences, Performing Arts, Music, Engineering, Medical Technology, Nursing, and Pharmacy. To this end, the school holds various culture and arts activities such as performances, lectures, workshops, exhibits, and literary- musical-dance competitions, among others. The College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education (CLASE) is composed of what used to be the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, and the Conservatory of Music. It is also the service college in charge of the General Education (GE) curriculum. With the recent vertical articulation of academic programs, the College also offers graduate programs, namely, Ph.D./M.A. Education, M.A. Guidance and Counseling, and M.A. Religious Studies to be under the Graduate School. The reorganized College offers undergraduate degree programs in four disciplinal clusters: Humanities, Social Science, Science, and Education. These include A.B. Communication, A.B. Literature, A.B. Philosophy, Bachelor of Music, A.B. Political Science, B.S. Foreign Service, B.S. Psychology B.S. Biology, B.S. Chemistry, Bachelor of Library and Information Science, B.S. Computer Science, B.S. It makes the Library not only more efficient but more effective at supporting student learning collaboration. As a tech-savvy LRC of the 21st century, it gives students and faculty access to library resources anytime, anywhere, 24/7 through our university website or the Destiny Quest mobile application. On the Rada's ground floor, Hall Annex is the Stack Room, where collections of over 140,000 volumes of books are housed, while the Graduate School Library is located on the second floor. Adjacent to Rada Hall Annex is the Fray Luis de Leon Building which lodges, the Technical Section, Senior High School Library, the Current Loose and Bound Periodicals and Serials, the e-journals and other Electronic Databases at the ground floor, and the College of Law Library at the second floor. A Discussion Area is provided at the center between the Mentrida and Fray Luis De Leon Buildings. The Basic Education Department maintains their libraries in their respective buildings.
