The Office of Institutional Research reports to the Provost and Executive Vice President and the Budget Office. Our primary focus is institutional and comparative analyses of the academic enterprise at Washington State University in service to its mission as a public, research, land-grant University. As part of that role, the Provost and Executive Vice President have charged IR with university-wide data administration responsibilities. Also, Institutional Research serves as an official data provider to Washington, the federal government, and other external audiences.
