There are many things we are proud of about our school. We have a proud sporting heritage with regular success in local and area competitions. Our creative skills are nurtured through art and musical opportunities and our children have access to our incredible outdoor area in the heart of the community: Pitts Wood. We have high expectations. Academic achievement is important and we work hard to help children attain high standards. We expect children to be caring towards others, act as good citizens, showing respect and tolerance in all they do.
We are proud to be a part of the Education Central Multi Academy Trust. Together we work for the continued improvement in school and the trust offers Woodhouse the support, expertise, and challenge to improve further. Our staff work as a team to nurture our learners and prepare them for the future. Our mission statement is “Dream, Believe, Inspire, Achieve ” and we aim to provide a happy, secure environment in which children will thrive and develop intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically a place where learning is central to everything. Our staff is committed to supporting the children entrusted to our care. To achieve their best, there needs to be a positive relationship between home and school.
