Thorntree Primary School is a non-denominational school in the East End of Glasgow. We have a highly motivated and committed group of teachers and support workers, who endeavor daily to give your children a quality educational experience, which takes account of new educational thinking and practices.
At Thorntree we recognize the importance of ICT in the educational life of our pupils. We have PCs in every class, interactive whiteboards in each infant class plus two additional boards for upper classes to share. The children have access to digital cameras, video cameras, and programmable toys.

Our school values are on display in our entrance hall, in our gym hall, and classrooms. We remind pupils regularly of our values in our whole school assemblies. Each class focuses on Values in Health and Wellbeing lessons at the start of each session. Pupils who adhere to our school values are selected to represent Thornwood Primary at sporting or other inter-school events.
