In St Timothy’s Primary School and Nursery Class, we provide a safe, happy learning environment within which all children are fully involved in planning and evaluating their learning experiences. We encourage all children to be the best they can be in every aspect of their development and to be successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors, and responsible citizens. Working in partnership with stakeholders we strive to ensure that all of our children are achieving, healthy, active, safe, nurtured, included, respected, and valued members of our multicultural society.
Our school, St Timothy’s Primary, is a denominational school located in the Greenfield area in the East of Glasgow. The school’s role is currently 412 children plus 80 (40/40) children in the nursery class.
The school has very good working relationships with local schools and is part of the St Andrew’s Learning Community. In session 2012/13 the teaching compliment was 20.6 full-time equivalent.
In the nursery class, there is one teacher and four Child Development Officers. There is also a very active Parent Council, incorporating the former PTA, who are very supportive of and work in close partnership with, the school.
