LPPS is a vibrant and successful, local school where there are only the highest of expectations and standards for our children and staff. We work together with families and young learners, governors, and community members to create a school designed to support and challenge all of our children. We provide a safe, caring, and friendly atmosphere, and ensure that perseverance and excellence in all things are encouraged and acknowledged.

The curriculum at LPPS is broad and balanced, offering a rich, creative and diverse experience. We follow the highly successful Power of Reading program, engaging our young learners and securing a love of reading which leads to higher attainment in both readings and writing for all children. The ability to read and love books is the gateway to all learning and academic success.

From Year 1 onwards we follow the IPC, the International Primary Curriculum covering all of our foundation subjects through theme-based creative and flexible learning. This allows all children to explore the history, geography, science, and other subjects in an exciting and investigative way.

We are a Maths specialist school and strive to make Maths relevant, fun, and everywhere. Our key objective in Maths is for all of our children to enjoy its challenges. The children at LPPS embrace numbers and mathematical concepts from an early age as a part of their everyday experiences.

We work closely with all of our MAT partnership schools: Langley Park School for Girls, Clare House Primary School, and Hawes Down Primary School. We share our expertise and our knowledge regularly and look forward to being on our new site and joining Langley Park School for Boys to further enrich our educational experiences.

The children of Langley Park Primary School will be surrounded by the best educational role models our country has to offer. We work on specific projects throughout the academic year with students and staff from the secondary schools, which allow our children to be exposed to high achieving and inspiring young people. The people we surround ourselves with have a profound impact on who we are and who we become.

We are proud to hold the ‘Langley’ name. We know the reputation and expectations that are associated with Langley Park Academies. We are a new school and we share the same values, drive, and ambition as our partners.

    • We will know and value each child as an individual and allow opportunities for them to explore their passions and build on their strengths.
    • Children will enjoy learning that is challenging and ignites curiosity about the world around them.
    • Children will enjoy the challenge of maths through engaging mathematical experiences.
    • Together we will develop a lasting love of learning, reading, and a passion for books.
    • Children will be consistently rewarded for perseverance and resilience they will see mistakes or failures as opportunities to develop excellence.
    • We will work with parents as partners, supporting parents’ crucial role in the development of their children.
    • Our children will have a voice and will be heard.
    • Our children will show responsible attitudes and be aware of the rights and needs of others.
