Kingsmead School was founded in 1904, to provide an environment “ideal for learning well”. Although much has altered since then, this aspect of the school is unchanged: we still offer a wholly pupil-centered, holistic education. As such we are one of Merseyside’s leading independent schools. We achieve the best GCSE results in Wirral for all-ability schools.
What Kingsmead has to offer its families is different firstly because of the size of the school: we keep classes small to ensure that children here are known – and taught – as individuals. Next, we combine high expectations of conduct with ready praise for effort. Lastly, we regard our whole school community as an extended family.
