At Hollywood, we believe that every child has a right to an inclusive and fair education that enables them to progress and become lifelong learners. Our staff is committed to the ethos that every teacher is a teacher of every child or young person including those with SEND, where differentiated and personalized teaching and learning is at the forefront of good SEND provision. We firmly believe that ‘SEND provision is underpinned by high-quality teaching and is compromised by anything less.’ In addition to this, high-quality assessment ensures that we are appropriately addressing the needs of the children to ensure positive personal and social outcomes.

At Hollywood, we have used the money to enhance our sports offer so that all children are taught by a sports specialist, Lisa Staff. Lisa has been able to participate in a range of training, in dance, games, and gymnastics, and she brings expertise and passion to the role. We are continuing to invest in her ongoing professional development.
The impact of including so many children in good sports coaching and having access to such a wide range of sporting opportunities has created a more positive and aspirational attitude to PE. and competitive sports, as well as other physical activities such as dance and gymnastics.
