The school aims to provide each child with an education tailored to his/her individual needs. Situated in Garrowhill, in the east end of Glasgow, Garrowhill Primary Primary currently caters to approx 390 pupils, with 14 classes covering all primary years from Primary 1 to Primary 7 on a co-educational basis. The school can cater for over 500 pupils (parents should note that the operational capacity of the school may vary, dependent upon the number of pupils at each stage and on the way classes are organized). The school old school building was opened in 1939 and consisted of a horseshoe-shaped main building. Recently we have moved to a new state-of-the-art learning facility on the same campus which includes classrooms, library, assembly hall, gym hall, music room, ICT suite, and conference room.
