At Floreat Wandsworth, we focus on a curriculum that enhances a child's character, knowledge of the world, and core skills. The whole team has listened to the views of the families we serve and have decided on a whole school 'Curriculum Jigsaw'. This is our offer to the pupils and also includes three ways in which we work with our families in partnership.
Good quality teaching and learning in a child’s first year of school make the biggest and longest-lasting difference to primary education and can define a child’s trajectory of progress in secondary school. We aim to give all our pupils the best boost possible, and the integration of our nursery at Floreat Wandsworth enables us to do this effectively. Our EYFS curriculum addresses the three prime, and four specific areas of the statutory Early Years Framework, which are also the basis for our assessments in nursery and reception.
