Welcome to Charlton Christian College, the place where something wonderful is always happening! I have a vision for Charlton, a dream that it will be a place that begins a journey of life-long learning where education is encouraged and appreciated and where Christian service promotes the idea that students are not only focused on self but God and others.
The Four Cornerstones of our College is built on the foundation of our Motto: “Equipping for Life”. A life of Love. Life of Integrity. A life of Faith. A life of Empowerment. These will then establish our community-building values of excellence in relationships good and Godly character wisdom which is grounded in Christ and the development of students’ gifts and talents through the joy born of hard work and determination. Let me invite you to share the Charlton journey where your children will be equipped for life, both now and into the future.
At Charlton, we have a strong emphasis on Pastoral Care. Our team is dedicated to supporting and fostering positive relationships with the members of our community. We also recognize that every student is unique and the environment in which they are nourished will play a pivotal role in how they deal with the responsibility of adulthood.
We pride ourselves on connecting with others and encourage our students to maintain caring and positive relationships with their peers and teachers. We understand that a holistic school approach is the desire of parents for their children and therefore our Pastoral Care is fundamental to who we are and what we do at Charlton.
Each year we offer Mission Trips for students in Junior, Middle & Senior School. Our Year 12 Students are also invited to participate in our yearly schoolies trip to Nepal. Charlton Christian College will strive to provide Christ-focused education of excellence, within a positive, creative, challenging, and caring community. Together we are committed to nurturing your child’s academic, social and spiritual development whilst equipping them for life. We aim to develop our students’ capacity to learn whilst recognizing their strengths and abilities.
Charlton focuses on providing an educational environment that enables students to discover and develop their talents in a safe, supportive, Christian community, and to live a fulfilling life that makes a meaningful contribution to society.
Junior School at Charlton Christian College is from Kindy to Year 4 and our focus is seeing students develop a love for learning as they seek and discover the unique person God has created them to be. Our staff is committed to loving, developing, and guiding our students so that the early years at school are a rewarding and positive experience. We understand that your child is unique and at Charlton you will find our goal is the same as yours, to prepare your child for their future.
Middle School is known as a time of tremendous change for students between the ages of 10-15 years. During this time these students need to be connected emotionally and socially as well as intellectually to remain engaged. It is easy for students to ‘fall through the cracks during this time in a traditional school setting and at Charlton, we believe the learning in Middle School focuses on encouraging students to negotiate the curriculum according to their interests and passion.
The Senior School at Charlton is a place of opportunity and challenge. During the final years of formal schooling, students are developing a platform for their future. Charlton staff are a dedicated team of professional educators who strive to work as a team alongside students and parents to spur students on to aspire to and achieve their very best.  Throughout the Senior years, students grow a greater sense of self-identity and an increased responsibility for their learning. Charlton seeks to cater to all types of learners and offers a suite of opportunities for students to enhance their learning.
