Bloxham School is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 11 to 18 situated in north Oxfordshire.
We are proud to boast state-of-the-art facilities for academic work, sport, technology, and the arts on a modern, single-site campus. With around 460 students, Bloxham is small enough to ensure that each student receives individual attention, yet large enough to offer every opportunity a school twice its size could deliver. Our flexible approach to boarding responds to the demands of modern family living, with all our students classified as either boarders, day boarders, or day students.
Located in the heart of the beautiful Oxfordshire village of Bloxham, Bloxham School is only three miles away from the M40 London to Birmingham motorway. Banbury, just two miles away, has excellent rail connections, with London around 50 minutes by train. We are close to the major London airports as well as to Birmingham International Airport.
Bloxham is part of the Woodard Corporation and is a member of the HMC group, which is among the elite independent schools in the UK.

Bloxham will help to find what your child is good at, allow them to shine, and celebrate their success. The breadth of our broader curriculum offers over 100 activities, so students can try anything ranging from mainstream sports to minor ones, and from music, drama, and art, to astronomy and Model United Nations.
Supporting each individualWith just 460 students, we get to know your child quickly, finding how to encourage and get the best from them. Our students are cared for and nurtured, helping to become well-rounded individuals and the best version of themselves.
Flexible provision for boarding recognizes that boarding isn’t for everyone. Whilst we offer full boarding in one of our six houses (four boys and two girls), we additionally offer day boarding, also known as Flexi boarding. This means that two nights boarding is included in fees, with the option to add payable additional two nights each week if, and when, necessary.
We also offer a seventh mixed senior house, catering for day students, Stonehill. All students participate in the usual range of inter-house competitions and socials, with the use of a house with study rooms, changing rooms, and lockers until 6 pm.
