Incoming students transferred from schools inside Jordan are not allowed to register without first being interviewed and sitting for a placement test to get to know about their conduct and the reason behind their transfer. A new student is required to receive a special form from the registration office at Oxford Schools and have it completed by the student’s former school. The form includes a report on the student’s academic achievement, his/her behavior and conduct, and financial clearance.
Returning students from 7th – 11th Grades are not registered unless on the recommendation of the immediate principals based on their conduct and commitment to rules and regulations. Students from 7th – 12th Grades are not allowed to register in the International system unless they have attained a 75% Average or above in English. Aiming to attract the greatest number of outstanding and distinguished students, Oxford Schools grants full scholarships at the beginning of every school year inclusive of tuition, transportation, textbooks, and school uniform. The schools also award free study at Jordanian universities to the top ten Oxford students in the General Secondary Certificate.
Students excelling in sports are encouraged through awarding them scholarships based on obtaining championships at the kingdom’s level, these include tuition, transportation, books, and school uniform and are renewed annually if the student obtains a championship. The schools have set up plans to follow up with students who have been awarded scholarships to ensure that they maintain their excellence in achievement and academic programs. We hope to be able to continue our educational mission to serve our country and our Hashemite Leadership, with the determination, will, and loyalty inspired by the wisdom of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn AL Hussain, God Bless Him.
For over twenty years we have extremely served Jordan and its community. The schools were established by an elite group of Jordanians, who had deep insight to realize how important it is for the future of generations to incorporate modern education into the Arab Muslim identity. Since our inception, the schools have strived to provide quality education to all students and pursued the goal of developing standards-aligned with our philosophy. The Schools' buildings have been expanded to meet our educational requirements and to include all facilities of a modern well-equipped school.
Apart from spacious and comfortable classrooms, we have modern science labs and state-of-the-art computer labs. The Schools believe in inoculating the habit of reading early in life. Several well-stocked libraries have an extensive academic collection as well as a varied collection of fiction to suit the reading interests of all patrons. Since the schools' establishment, Oxford Schools have been keen to produce graduates with education for life, who are accepted at top universities worldwide and are well acquainted with information technology and its applications.
Oxford school has met all standards requirements established by the Advanced Accreditation Commission and has been fully accredited by the North Central Accreditation Commission on accreditation and school improvement. (NCA & CASI). This is an impressive achievement, since (NCA &CASI) is an alliance of the largest American accrediting associations. As of now, our graduate students will have their diplomas notarized at AMIDEAST (of the US Embassy) and the Jordanian Ministry of Education. The certification assures that Oxford Schools international schools and universities worldwide.
