The College was established in 1995 in the beautiful city of Bendigo. In 2009, we moved to new facilities, and since then, we have continued to grow and expand. The College is a fully accredited VCE provider, and we are committed to delivering an excellent education for all students, from Prep to Year Twelve.
Victory Christian College is a safe and nurturing environment where every child is valued and encouraged to excel and enjoy their education. We offer a values-based education that fosters respect, leadership, and hope for the future. The College curriculum is designed to allow students to pursue their strengths in both core and creative subjects.
Acts Global Churches is a Pentecostal movement, birthed in the early 20th Century in Wales through the influence of the Welsh Revival. For example, the worship and ministry experienced during College life in chapel and church services, on camps, etc., reflect this expression. The College has a balanced approach to fostering Christian values and teaching a Christian worldview. The emphasis on integrity, and the high standards expected of all staff members, allow College families to feel confident in the environment provided.
The College aims to serve our local community's families, surrounding districts, and our global partners with excellence while sharing the message and example of Jesus. The College has partner schools in Malaysia (Victory Academy) and Vanuatu (Victory School of Hope). Victory Christian College is affiliated with State, National, and International Education Organisations, which provide accreditation and support.
The Curriculum at Victory is designed to be flexible to meet our students' diverse range of learning needs. Support and extension programs are offered across the core subjects at all year levels, with one on one support available for students in Primary and Junior Secondary.
Maths is streamed from Grade Three onwards, which provides opportunities for students to be accelerated up to three years ahead, and undertake VCE maths subjects early. Other VCE subjects are offered to Year Ten and include Biology, Chemistry, Physical Education, Business Management, Drama, and Studio Arts.
A wide range of VCE and VET subjects are offered at Year 11 and 12, and the subjects which run are dependent on student choice. Small class sizes ensure students receive the support they need to complete their VCE. The College provides comprehensive technology and electives based program in Secondary, with increasing diversity at senior levels. Primary Students undertake Music, Art, Chinese, and P.E. as specialist subjects. Students from Year Five to Year Eight participate in the College Enrichment Program, allowing exploration and participation in a broad range of extra-curricular activities.
