Our Vision Statement is Shepparton ACE College - A Great Place To Learn! Shepparton ACE College aims to provide a safe, supportive learning environment to those students experiencing difficulties within education. The College aims to promote skills and confidence for lifelong learning and develop a sense of personal responsibility to contribute positively to the broader community.
Shepparton ACE College Inc. is an independent Senior Secondary School and a community based, not for profit organization, providing an exciting range of educational opportunities for youth and adults in Greater Shepparton. We also work with industry, employment agencies, welfare agencies, and secondary schools to meet our community's education and training needs.
Mandatory reporters, who believe on reasonable grounds that a child or young person needs protection from physical injury or sexual abuse, must report their concerns to the Department of Human Services (DHS) Child Protection. All other school staff who believe on reasonable grounds that a child or young person needs:
protection are encouraged to report their concerns to DHS Child Protection or Victoria Police.
Treatment is encouraged to report their concerns to DHS Child Protection.
If staff have significant concerns for a child or young person's wellbeing, they are encouraged to report their concerns to DHS Child Protection or Child FIRST. In cases where staff have concerns about a child or young person, they should discuss their concerns with the principal or a school leadership team member.
