Saint Stephen's College

Saint Stephen's College is a learning community centered on Christian principles. We strive to develop self-directed, determined, courageous, and skillful young men and women of substance who will make a positive difference to their communities now and in the future. The College community values maturity and integrity as the hallmarks of character-based leadership.
To quote a line from our College Hymn, we want our school to 'be a place of fellowship and learning.' The fellowship is essential in its own right, but it also forms the foundation for learning. As I have often said, I want students to leave the campus at the end of the day with a smile on their face and their brain hurting a bit because it has been exercised.
We can achieve these things if we support each other. Each of us has different lives, but I hope we all have a standard set of values and a shared determination to build talented, fun-loving, considerate, courteous, committed, and confident young people. We can be assured of this outcome if we work together. Each family who joins us makes us more robust, and we aim to return the favor.
As a Christian school, Saint Stephen's College nurtures our students' spiritual life and the broader College community. Our College Chaplain, Father Andrew Kinmont, supports students in their faith journey by helping them understand the Christian faith principles and how they can apply these principles to life in the 21st Century. Father Andrew is available to support families during times of celebration and in times of need.
Our Junior School Program provides a caring and engaging environment for young learners to develop and grow. Our students thrive with the support of highly skilled teachers who provide a strong academic foundation and rich co-curricular, technology, and social experiences.
Students in our Senior School have the support of expert instructors, access to the latest in technology, and can select from a wide range of course options. Our senior program is focused on individual needs and encourages students to become independent thinkers, engage in their learning, and realize their potential. As a result of this approach, our graduates are confident, empowered, and prepared to take their place in a rapidly changing world.
Saint Stephen's College Childcare Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that provides an innovative, fun, and nurturing early learning experience. Our educators are highly qualified, caring, and committed to providing engaging programs that support social, intellectual, and physical development. Being an integral part of the College, the children also have opportunities to visit the school's library, participate in whole-of-school events and become familiar with staff and students, which builds confidence and assists in a positive transition to school.
