This role will be a critical position, partnering with the Sr Manager Marketing Strategy and Director Marketing as we prepare to create magic at sea in Southeast Asia.  You will be a crucial part of establishing the cross company synergy engagement strategy for the successful introduction and sustainment of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship Disney Adventure to sail from Singapore beginning in 2025.  

The Senior Manager, Synergy Marketing will create and lead strategic cross company integrations that will act as a key aspect of the go to market strategy.  You will identify initiatives taking place throughout the Disney Company Southeast Asia that provide opportunity to partner for Disney Cruise line. These activations will add strategic brand value, reaching key audiences and augmenting paid media plans.  This Synergy will have mutually beneficial outcomes and drive consumer engagement and brand presence for Disney Cruise line as we introduce our newest ship to the Southeast Asia region. Synergy  not limited to APAC Communications, Disney+, Studios, CRM, Social Handles, Network Synergy and more that help support the brand story of Disney Cruise line introductions and presence in the region.  You will evaluate and manage requests from throughout the Company that have potential for strong programs with the overall Disney Cruise line marketing campaigns.  You will integrate across Marketing & Sales as well as within the communications plans to optimize impact as well as drive mutually beneficial outcomes to partners. 

The Senior Manager must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be resourceful, creative, detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and capable of leading multiple people and projects simultaneously. 

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and lead innovative, strategic, and impactful Synergy campaigns throughout Southeast Asia:
    - APAC Communications
    - Disney + / Hotstar
    - Studios
    - Disney Social Handles
  • Develop strategic relationships understanding key business drivers to find win win outcomes to collaborative campaigns
  • Identify how synergy activations can add strategic value to the overall communication strategy for Disney Cruise line, activations to augment paid media and drive earned marketing value
  • Oversee communications with all TWDC business units focusing on relationship management and collaboration addressing business goals and objectives
  • Must be able to pitch new ideas while executing existing programs
  • Develop and maintain campaign plans that communicate the strategy, target audience, KPIs, of Synergy opportunities
  • Clearly present plans to internal and external stakeholders including executives at the VP level and above
  • Oversee campaign execution with internal and external groups and agency partners while managing milestones, timelines, and budgets
  • Look to optimize synergy engagement across the marketing mix to amplify partner engagement
  • Collaborate with marketing peers to consider how and where ideas can build for greater impact
  • Produce campaign recaps for external and internal business unit partners; conduct post-campaign analysis (calculating metrics such as reach/impressions, conversion, and ROI) with an eye towards optimization and share best practices
  • Manage and mentor Manager and Associate Manager-level team members
  • Assist the Director and VP on presentations, one-sheets, and communications
  • Monitor Company engagement on an ongoing basis to identify inspire new and innovative opportunities

Requirements:

  • 5 to 7+ years of proven experience in omni-channel, marketing communications driving earned media value
  • Experience developing marketing engagement and creative marketing plans in Southeast Asia
  • Experience as a leader of direct reports
  • Keen understanding of the region
  • Experience within the Disney Company is a plus
  • Significant experience in managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment reliant upon successful collaboration and integration of key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus superior professionalism and attention to detail
  • Skilled at understanding performance metrics to assess & optimize programs
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
