We are seeking an exceptional Program Manager for Prime UX, who will support highly visible, strategic UX-driven initiatives that guide the future of Amazon Prime. You’ll collaborate with the Research, Design, Engineering, and Product teams of Prime UX, and support collaboration across all of the business and technology teams within Prime Worldwide. You will work with various software and business teams around the company to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next generation of Amazon Prime, the underlying research and development that powers it at scale, and to establish and build the standardized processes and mechanisms that will define how Prime UX operates and collaborates with partner teams. This role also will help define, invent, and execute new operations capabilities within Prime UX; be in front of requests for UX-led initiatives; and coordinate continuous planning and the operation of UX as a shared service within Prime.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager (PM) to lead major cross-Amazon initiatives spanning tech and product management teams.

The Program Manager will work across business, product, and development teams to balance cost, schedule, and other variables to deliver projects that delight our customers. The candidate will work closely with the Director to manage multiple projects, spanning a number of UX areas. They will be responsible for solving big problems and connecting multiple teams across the Prime organization.

We expect the candidate to have a strong program management background and ability to drive multiple teams in a single direction. The ideal candidate can manage complex project schedules, provide leadership status updates, manage risk, and track relevant metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
