Job Description

Amazon Logistics is searching for a Senior Marketing Manager who will lead the strategy and execution of offline marketing activities which enables our Delivery Service Partners (DSP) to attract, hire and retain high quality Delivery Associates at scale.

This is a highly visible role with frequent interactions up to director and VP levels and offers 360 responsibility to build and manage a fast-growing program with large budget accountability.

Responsibilities will include partnering with key program stakeholders to adapt the core components of the EU Acquisition marketing program based on specific marketplace dynamics.

**This is a fixed term contract role (10 month contract)**



Key job responsibilities
• Campaign strategy and development for offline on the ground activities, including managing agency relationships for media, creatives and execution
• Manage a group of Brand Ambassadors to execute targeted and localised offline activities across EU
• Being comfortable switching between strategy and execution
• Developing metrics and measurements to determine campaign effectiveness, including partnering with BI team, media agency and third party vendors to implement performance measurement automation, attribution and channel optimisation
• Partner with senior leaders, cross-functional marketing teams, and various business partners to drive strategic and data-driven candidate attraction plans and actions
• Drive brand awareness and assess creative ways to drive lead generation through offline activities for hard to recruit markets
• Be an evangelist for the candidate experience, working to continuously improve the candidate journey
• Design and execute programs based on well structured, insightful analytics
• Earn trust from internal and external partners, manage multiple projects, and balance contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment


About the team
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.

There are two sides to what we do. Our ‘under the roof’ associates process millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams. Our team is people-focused and supportive, particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations.

Meanwhile, our ‘on the road’ people work with Amazon Flex - a network of delivery contractors. Every year, we continually raise the bar for customer experience with new, innovative delivery services. We look for new ways to overcome industry wide logistics challenges and new ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supported by a portfolio of cutting-edge vehicles (including Electric Vehicles) and technology to help us do just that.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- Experience in marketing or marketing research
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Professional non-internship marketing experience of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs and owning offline campaign strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
- Experience managing agency relationships, creative and media plans
