Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Sustainability Software business unit is looking for a positive and collaborative Software Engineer to join SCBN product team. In this role, you will be the member for the SCBN Standard and Premium team and is responsible Development and Support of the product. This is an exciting opportunity to learn at a low level how the industry leading Supply Chain product works and to learn from a large group of very talented engineers.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to :

• Follow software development processes based on agile methodologies
• Participate in user story identification and analysis in an agile environment
• Collaborate effectively with peer members, partners and other support functions when required
• Learn critical Supply Chain practices and understand SAAS multi-tenant platforms
• Deliver high quality code, own validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, troubleshooting, testing and knowledge sharing

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4+ years of development experience in JAVA based software development & Spring Boot framework
• Proficient in Linux & Windows server environments
• Strong Knowledge of Container based setups/environments such as Kubernetes & Docker
• Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases (DB2 and Couchbase)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Optional Skills and preferred experience with:
• Knowledge in distributed systems and SaaS infrastructure
• Knowledge in automation and monitoring tools
