EY- Cyber Security – Technology Consulting – Senior Consultant Infrastructure Security

As part of our EY Cyber Security team, you shall be responsible for defining, solutions, integrating, and implementing innovative solutions which will enhance our service delivery quality, as well as help us strategically elevate technology-driven transformation for our clients. You’ll also help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

We’re looking for a Security professional with a solution mindset and hands-on security engineering expertise in Infrastructure security concepts, risk and controls concepts, and architecture design. Your key responsibilities

 

• Security design & architect professional who is responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing network security systems within an organisation’s IT network- On-Prem & Cloud.
• Architect in designing highly scalable solutions for on-prem DC’s and cloud platforms.
• Experienced in planning, designing, deployment, configuration, integration, and management of EDR solutions such as Crowdstrike
• Plan, design, deploy, configure, integrate, and manage Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX) solutions.
• Good Understanding of design and deployment of Zero Trust Architecture, SASE, ZTNA and Micro-segmentation.
• Identify requirements, design documents, and implement technical solutions for scalable and resilient network architecture.
• Experience in building networks by taking into consideration various factors like bandwidth requirements, infrastructure requirements and security.
• Individual should possess experience in planning, design, deployment, configuration, integration, and management of network protection controls including Next-gen firewalls, WAF, SDN Security, DDoS Protection, IPS, VPN and network authentication solutions to protect IT assets and should be responsible for the deployment of any changes, plug-ins, or configuration as requested by the client.
• Plan, design, deploy, configure, integrate, and manage platform protection controls including virtualisation protection solutions on Hypervisors and thin client’s security solutions.
• Should be well-versed with network documentation that includes network drawings, text descriptions and equipment configurations, designing HLDs and LLDs.
• Design, deploy, configure, integrate, and manage Advanced Threat Protection controls including ATP and Sandboxing solutions.
• Design, deploy, configure, integrate, and manage email protection controls including email gateways with Anti-phishing, Anti-virus, Anti-malware, content filtering and email encryption solutions like Cisco, Proofpoint etc.
• This experience should include both advisory and implementation experience
• Design, administer, operate and maintain threat environment, including installation, configuration, fine-tuning and maintenance of threat components
• Working knowledge of common attacks & vulnerabilities and possess a strong understanding of common categories and characteristics of malware.

• Serve as highly technical security expert to bring security transformation to both new and legacy infrastructure.
• Deploy new technologies quickly, and successfully transition new platforms to the Security Operations Team for ongoing support
• Embed with project teams to understand complex architectures, apply correct security controls, and ensure they are governable in the future
• Development of patterns and validation of those patterns through engagement with business and lab work
• Effective communication that is both written and spoken with great follow-up skills
• Ability to drive outcomes and become the multidisciplinary expert that enables engagement
• Clearly demonstrates proven extensive abilities with leveraging creative thinking and problem-solving skills, individual initiative, and utilizing Office 365, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Google Docs.
• Good presentation, project management, facilitation, and delivery skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Develop/Implement automation solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned to client business, technology, and threat posture.
• Demonstrates ability to track developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure that they're adequately addressed in client’s security strategy plans and architecture artefacts.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

• 6+ years of experience in Information Technology experience, with 3+ years of specialization in Cyber Security roles that include multiple areas of specialization.

• Professional-level knowledge in more than two areas from the following:
• Security Engineering & Architecture assessments
• Network Security (including IPS, WAF, and cloud-native protections)
• Zero Trust Design & Implementation
• Cloud Security Architecture & Serverless Infrastructure
• DevSecOps Practices
• API Security and driving reuse of capabilities across the organization
• Data Security (identification & controls of sensitive data, including DLP
• Secrets Management
• Identity and Access Management (including User Lifecycle Management)
• Entrepreneurial approach to solving security problems with consultative skills

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

• Good soft skills i.e. verbal & and written communication, technical document writing etc
• Strong project management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience working in the Advisory or Technology Consulting industry
• Customer orientation skills
• CISSP, CISA, CISM, or any related vendor-specific certification would be an added advantage.
