Job Description

The Fit team’s vision is to build a visual, personalized, and trustworthy shopping experience that helps all customers find the right fit, every time. We own a portfolio of tools that help Amazon customers find the right fit for a body or space. It includes Size Recommendations, Size Finder, Size Chart that is integrated with the self-service ingestion tool in Seller Central, and Review Highlights.

Key job responsibilities
A Software Development Engineer in the F2 + Cross-category Fit organization works on all existing and yet-to-be-defined Fit CX WW (21 locales). The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of end-to-end multi-tier software, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience developing web services and large-scale software.

Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
