About the Role & Team

The Disney Cruise Line (DCL) Finance Team is responsible for supporting and leading all aspects of the financial, planning and analysis and business decision support for DCL. DCL is a fast paced, dynamic business that is part of Disney Signature Experiences, an entrepreneurial growth engine for the DPEP segment.

The Manager - Finance will be heavily involved in the development and execution of the revenue planning and forecasting processes, including both ongoing and new revenue initiative support (e.g., data analytics, consumer and competitor trends, yield and deployment analysis, as well as other ad hoc requests) for Finance leadership and for the Disney Cruise Line senior leadership team. This is a new finance position, and the roles and responsibilities will evolve as the scope of the position is refined over time. The right fit candidate will need to be comfortable working in a traditionally less structured role, while excelling in helping to influence the roles strategic direction, over time. This position will also be accountable for developing relationships and working closely with key partners across the site & segment, including Disney Cruise Line Commercial Strategies, DCL Revenue Management, Segment Planning, Financial Reporting, Financial Systems and others.

This position is located in the Orlando, Florida area, reporting to the Senior Manager, DCL Financial Planning and will lead 1 direct report.

What You Will Do

• Develop dynamic reporting and provide insightful analytics to influence and support the financial growth objectives of the business
• Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to a hard-working team
• In partnership with Disney Cruise Line Revenue Management and the DCL Financial Planning team, help lead and complete the key revenue processes and analysis (AOP, Long Term Plan, Quarterly Forecasts) and story tell for leadership
• Partner closely with a wide variety of teams across the organization both within and outside of Finance
• Influence key partners and customers on financial deliverables and expectations
• Drive innovation and improvement both in processes and in results

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant analytical and leadership experience in finance organization
• Strong technical acuity with advanced experience in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Vision and illustrative experience in improving established processes and driving change, when necessary
• Strong relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work in a team environment with a positive demeanor
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to simplify complex issues and incorporate effective “story telling”
• Proven ability to understand a partner’s perspective, while maintaining independence and providing constructive counterpoints, when necessary.
• Ability to adapt story to various audiences and present stories that are able to positively influence the organization as we accelerate through significant growth in the coming years
• Self-starter with ability to self-manage objectives in a fast paced work environment
• Excellent communication, presentation and strategic thinking skills and ability to translate a concept into the financial elements and explain to multiple stakeholders within the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of positive leadership skills with an ability to inspire the team, quickly adapting leadership style to meet the needs of the business and environment
• MBA or equivalent
• Knowledge of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products financial planning processes

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics
