Your Role and Responsibilities
Software Defined Networking (SDN) Business unit focuses on software based networking, an architecture approach that enables network to be intelligently and centrally controlled using software with main focus on automating network functions, allowing for simpler provisioning and management of network resources, everywhere from the data centre to the campus to the edge. We help service providers achieve zero touch network operations. SDN is under IBM Software which is IBM Products division
Role
As a Software QA you will be responsible for testing products developed for SDN technology which enables organizations to quickly manage and reconfigure network resource usage using automated provisioning and policy- based management. The automation and policy-based management help organizations respond to fluctuations in resource demand and traffic and ensures optimal efficiency of network resources. You will also be working on Telco Cloud platform that enables automation of network operations so CSP can transform their networks and evolve to zero-touch operation, reduce OPEX and deliver
faster service.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 10+ Years in Testing
- Expert in managing teams
- Experience in test script using Selenium, Python
- Experience in building CI pipeline
- Hands on Cloud experience
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Played Test Manager role
- Experience in agile development methodologies
- Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, GCP...)
- Experience in microservices architectures, cloud native applications and API development (REST, event oriented)
- Knowledge in monitoring and observability technologies (Streaming telemetry, Kafka, IPFIX/Netflow, SNMP, Prometheus... )
