The role will require strategic thinking and consistent Global Site Leaders to Director to VP interaction to continually steer the direction of the team and achieve business goals. The role will also require leading and mentoring team members to apply Lean process methodologies to highlight what tasks on the ground are value-added and non-valued-added and scaling up to what can be possible at a site-level and network-level.

Key job responsibilities
· Drive network level excellence by leading a global team to design and implement systems, metrics and programs that maximize compliance, productivity and continuous improvement.
· Build strong partnership with operations field leaders to identify new business initiatives and successfully integrate and deploy them to the network level.
· Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers.
· Work with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth and optimization of the business.
· Analyze and solve operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes.

About the team
The Global Operations - AI (GO-AI) team handles exceptions remotely in the Amazon Robotic Fulfillment Centers Globally. GO-AI seeks to complement automated vision based decision-making technologies by providing remote human support for the subset of tasks which require higher cognitive ability and cannot be processed through automated decision making with high confidence. This team provides end-to-end solutions through inbuilt competencies of Operations and strong central specialized teams to deliver programs at Amazon scale.

Basic Qualifications:

- 8+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- 6+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply chain management, engineering, statistics or other technical field (or higher)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience managing teams
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
- MBA
- Writing SQL queries, knowledge of Python, Visual Basic, Tableau or other technical tools
