What you'll Do   

  • Scale and build infrastructure for predictive and generative models on large-scale datasets to address various business problems.   

  • Develop and implement scalable and efficient data pipeline featurization/scoring algorithms that can work with large-scale data in production systems. 

  • Collaborate with product management and engineering groups to develop new products and features.  

What you need to succeed  

  • PhD or MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Applied Math, Operations Research or other related fields.  

  • 8+ years of experience in artificial intelligence or machine learning. 

  • Familiar with Generative AI models such pre-training Large Language Models and model fine-tuning, Natural Language Understanding (NLU) 

  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java or Scala. 

  • Familiar with one or more machine learning, deep learning or statistical modeling tools such as R , scikit-learn, JupyterLab 

  • Familiar public cloud computing platforms and frameworks such DataBricks, SageMaker, Tensorflow, LangChain. 

  • Knowledge and experience of working with relational databases and SQL. 

  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.  

  • Excellent communication, relationship skills and a strong team player.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of experimental design, ANOVA, statistical inference, and multivariate testing. 

  • Knowledge of numerical or combinatorial optimization. 

  • Previous publication, patents in AI/ML area or contribution to open-source AI/ML libraries 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $127,400 -- $238,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
