Our team is responsible for the groundbreaking innovation that drives billions of dollars of revenue for Adobe. We lead the development of the subscription lifecycle services which powers the ecommerce subscription business for all Adobe's products and services.

We are seeking candidates who can help propel our innovation as we move our product and services into the next iteration of cloud offerings. You will be key in helping us architect, build, deploy and test high traffic, critically important services that drive business for the world’s top brands. For this role we are looking for individuals who are self-starters, need no supervision, and commit to results and outcomes.

The services being built are used in the collaboration space and in the platform offerings for internal and external clients. These services allow Adobe users to work collaboratively with others, crafting truly outstanding creations.

What you’ll do:

  • Build services
  • Understand the big picture as well as dive into individual components.
  • Present new insights, decisions, designs, etc. to teams and leaders.
  • Work collaboratively in a team and receive feedback about your work.
  • Partner cross-functionally with other teams to achieving common goals.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Be a technical lead for multiple initiatives.

What you need to succeed:

  • Love to code - we do code!
  • Desire to own your work - from requirements through architecture and implementation all the way to operations.
  • Strong experience building solutions for performance, scale, and resilience.
  • Proficient with distributed computing principles and proven experience building high scale high performance cloud platforms and services.
  • Knowledge of multiple cloud providers is a huge plus.
  • Hands on understanding of open-source technologies, which are part of the modern cloud ecosystem.
  • 10+ years of experience with Java (or JVM based languages).
  • Strong experience with NoSQL as well as RDBMS.
  • In-depth knowledge of containerization and modern deployment strategies.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $163,400 -- $302,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
