The Opportunity
Adobe is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial and business partner support primarily for Adobe Express along with supporting responsibilities for Education pillar of Adobe. This position will provide cross-functional engagement that will enable and influence key decision making. You will support FP&A processes through analysis and modeling to provide recommendations to senior management, driving strategic decision making.
What You’ll Do
- Own scenario analysis to support Adobe Express, ensuring financial rigor when exploring opportunities for Adobe and long-term monetization strategy. Advise business strategy, opportunity sizing, and financial targets.
- Support strategic financial planning, setting the roadmap for Adobe's continued growth by collaborating with business owners to build long-term financial models.
- Partner closely with IT, Finance Systems, Analytics, Product, Engineering and Finance counterparts to continually improve & enhance Team’s reporting and forecasting capabilities and processes.
- Be a trusted business partner working cross-functionally to actively address Adobe’s risk and opportunities while working with key business leaders to identify appropriate metrics/KPIs to measure and evaluate business performance.
- Maintain Adobe Express P&L and improve the process.
- Own weekly, mid-quarter and quarter-end financial reporting, telling the “Why” behind financial performance. Provide a daily report on the funnel performance.
- Create forecasts at a weekly grain for the entire Adobe Express funnel and maintain/improve the process.
- Support the team with ad-hoc projects as it comes.
- In addition to supporting Adobe Express, provide support to the Education pillar of Adobe business with reporting and forecasting needs.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, analytics, or related fields. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5-7 years of relevant finance or finance focused analytics experience. Previous experience in creating financial models for a subscription/SaaS business a plus. Management consulting and analytics experience is a plus.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, with experience in SQL and some reporting/visualization tool. Experience in PowerBI, Tableau, Hadoop, and/or Databricks preferred. Focus on building scalable analytics & reporting.
- Self-starter who can handle sophisticated tasks with minimal direction and develop new strategies and ways of approaching business challenges.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills with ability to influence/drive decision making across cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including ability to handle several projects at a time in a fast-paced environment. Eye for detail on every deliverable is required.
- Problem solver who can challenge the status quo and drive new ways of thinking across the organization.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
