  • Take personal responsibility for the success and health of the programs under your care. Commitments are promises kept.

  • Propose solutions, consult on platform/roadmap changes. Champion long lasting architecture along w/ documentation.
  • Shield team members by answering both technical and business-related questions on behalf of the team.
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects and programs varying in size/scope/complexity, spanning across several different teams and organizations.
  • Be sought after by leadership for “the real story” and craft communications that can be consumed at different levels of the organization – from executive-level presentations to materials consumed by engineering/program teams.
  • Proactively identify risks in all assigned areas; work with teams and management to mitigate these risks before they become issues.
  • Develop your own well-informed point of view, and influence people at all levels: from front-line team members to VPs, SVPs, and C-level executives, communicating continuously with partners throughout the organization.
  • Understand, surface, and articulate technical challenges. Navigate the team to the option that delivers the best customer experience.
  • "Set the table" to ensure success, and ensure all team members clearly understand the goals, expectations, and success criteria.
  • Continually pursue delivery excellence by increasing team velocity, efficiency and throughput.

What You Need to Succeed

  • We love someone who is extremely organized with outstanding attention to detail; understands the what, why, when, how and why needed to drive outstanding solutions.
  • Be curious! Understand and learn the business, technology, product, and processes without being asked.
  • Understand cloud-based software development, web services, APIs, and cloud computing.
  • Self-starter! Extensive program management experience with large-scale initiatives. Background in PMO-best practices a strong plus.
  • Able to effectively modulate the presentation of information based on your audience: everyone from a C-level executive to an Individual Contributor.
  • Experience leading broad programs across organizations in a matrixed, globally-diverse workforce.
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies in an always-on, services-based infrastructure/architecture.
  • Skilled at leading design and technical trade-off conversations to closure.
  • Experience with applications such as Jira, or other backlog management tools and project management tools.
