The Opportunity

The VP, Americas DX Sales, Solution Led reporting to the VP, DX Solution Led and Select Markets will lead GTM, Strategy and Sales Execution for Adobe’s Digital Experience volume and velocity business (Solution Led). This strategic leader runs an end-to-end business and collaborates across a sophisticated ecosystem to deliver solutions to the world’s most well-known brands to land, grow, and secure our customers’ footprint within Adobe.

Leading by example, this sales executive must empower, supervise, and hold the 400+ person team accountable for monthly quota attainment, while owning executive relationships at the highest level both internally and across Adobe’s customer base. Track record of past success achieving bold growth objectives, while leading with insight and compassion. This is a key Executive level role within Adobe, responsible for driving adoption and long-term value for our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead 400+ North America sales executives, account managers, renewal specialists, and scale team. Build measurable customer impact and growth. Protect and grow the 600M+ install base at an accelerated rate, along with generating new logos.
  • Develop the DX Solution Led GTM strategy and execution framework, in conjunction with key partners in Customer Solutions, Solution Consulting, Marketing, Partners, Product, and Field leadership.
  • Develop successful teams passionate about redefining our customer's digital experience, and deriving value from their investment with Adobe. Lead and drive exceptional sales and operational execution. Develop initiatives to penetrate the market, achieve sales goals, and leverage sales assets.
  • Be operationally excellent in the day-to-day running of the business. Including forecasting, pipeline development, training, hiring, performance management, collaboration, teamwork, and standard methodology sharing.
  • Assess current sales methodologies and team structure to propose/implement vital adjustments to optimize performance. Build the infrastructure and incentives to facilitate further aggressive growth.
  • Serve as a strategic problem solver for the company. Cultivate innovation, articulating a compelling, long-term vision for the future, and encouraging others to action.
  • Be a customer advocate. Relay feedback to customer success, marketing, engineering, and product organizations. Develop and implement critical initiatives in line with overall business goals across a matrixed internal environment.
  • Cultivate and evolve a culture based on Adobe's core values.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Proven command of volume and velocity sales motion in a SaaS business, with consistent record of success. Validated experience building scalable, repeatable sales, account management and renewals processes with operational efficiency.
  • Deep experience working across the C-Suite both internally and externally. Shown experience as a change agent who challenges the status quo by asking "why" and driving continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on leader who looks to become involved in all elements of leading and interfacing across diversified teams, with different functional responsibilities. Ability to build dedication, trust, and a following, understanding how to optimally connect, listen, and engage at all levels of an organization.
  • 15+ years of sales leadership at scale. Highly collaborative and experienced in working in a matrixed environment. Depth of success leading net new, cross sell, upsell and renewal sales motions in single product and multi product environments. High IQ and EQ, strong communication, ability to articulate and sell a vision.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $232,300 -- $488,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
