We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The opportunity

Within the broader Adobe Education team, the Education Community team is dedicated to building a global community of educators who are passionate about enabling creativity, communication, and digital literacy in the classroom. Our flagship program is Adobe Creative Educator (or ACE) which has tens of thousands of global members who work closely with us to blend pedagogy and technology, ensuring that it is relevant, meaningful, and impactful for students. Our new student programs focus not just on creativity in the classroom, but also nurture critical leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. This leader is responsible for the direction and evolution of all these programs, as well as supporting programs and initiatives, as well as gauging and reporting on their impact and efficacy. This position has the potential to impact millions of students and their teachers worldwide!

What you’ll do

  • Implement Systems and Process to Gauge Impact: Our community programs must be impactful, both for educators and their students, as well as for Adobe.

  • Strategically Evolve Community Programs: You will be charged with evolving the programs and offerings, both established ones and potential new ones. This is particularly important as we grow our programs into critical international markets with differing requirements.

  • Grow and Engage our Educator Community: Lead our education community growth efforts. This includes deciding the regions, personas, and types of educators can most benefit from the support and inspiration our programs provide.

  • Lead: Balance priorities, set aggressive growth targets, and lead all aspects of expansion. Setting targets, strategy, and measuring success is key to this growth and enabling both short- and long-term outcomes for students.

  • Partner: Interact with numerous team and groups within Adobe, including other community teams and education evangelists, engagement managers, content creators, and product managers. The team's lead is responsible for championing these critical relationships, as well as community partnerships with other companies and organizations, to ensure teams collaborate in ways that encourage innovation, shared goals, and efficiencies.

  • Facilitate: We host conferences (virtual and in-person), live-streams, get-togethers at industry events, meet-ups, and more.

  • The ability to plan for short and long-term goals, align with broader company objectives, and to measure and track success, data, and customer insights.

  • Clear and compelling communication skills are a must. This includes internal and external presentations, speeches, and other written communications.

  • You'll need strong organization, planning, timelines, and budgeting to ensure projects and initiatives are successfully defined and delivered on time at the highest quality.

  • You will need to support highly distributed and remote teams, including vendors, contractors, and partners.

  • Experience building and growing community programs is required. Experience with educator communities is preferred.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong K-12 experience and familiarity with Higher Education, understanding the needs of teachers and students.

  • Experience working at scale with projects that have reached millions of users, especially within large companies or organizations.
