The Opportunity

Adobe Digital Learning team is searching for an experience Solution Consultant to be part of our North America pre-sales function.

As a Solution Consultant, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to our customers - the world's most innovative companies!  As a core member of the team, you’ll collaborate with and support our sales, solutions architecture, product management and customer success organizations.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical and digital learning background with a good eye for presentation and compelling demonstrations. You must have have the confidence to discuss our solutions and technology with both marketing and IT customer at all levels.

What you will do

The Learning Solutions Consultant is the primary technical resource for the Adobe Learning Manager (ALM) sales team for the North America region.

  • Identify customer needs and business objectives through a detailed discovery of their current business processes and digital learning objectives.

  • Actively drive and lead the technology evaluation part of the sales lifecycle working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advocate for our solutions by pointing out the value of Adobe’s Digital Learning Solution.

  • Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users, creatively handles objections using documentation, presentations, and demonstrations.

  • Establishe and maintains strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.

  • Provide strong defense against competing products and object handle questions fielded by the competition in a sales opportunity.

  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.

What you need to succeed

  • Presales or consulting experience for an enterprise SaaS platform. Minimum 3-5 Years.

  • Exceptional presentation skills, conversational skills and experience as a trusted technical advisor.

  • Strong understanding of modern Web technologies and familiarity with e-learning standards such as SCORM.

  • Expert in building and presenting use cases, POV's and value propositions.

  • Ability to identify the critical business issues that customers are facing and provide solution approaches.

  • Strong software demonstration and value-selling experience.

  • Prior background or experience of working on an LMS/LXP platform solutions.

  • Excellent customer facing skills with experience addressing and achieving agreement from senior executives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $170,200 -- $265,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
