The opportunity

Are you a data-driven, growth-obsessed leader seeking to build out our new and growing team?  This high impact role is for you. We are looking for an enthusiastic for Business Intelligence Manager to join the Enterprise Digital Media Business Intelligence team.  Adobe’s Enterprise Digital Media business is growing rapidly and represents over $2B+ across Adobe’s flagship Creative Cloud and Document Cloud offerings. The Business Intelligence Team plays a crucial role in driving the growth and success of this business by providing the critical systems, tools, and insights that our Sales and Post-Sales Field teams need to make our customers successful.

As a Manager on the Business Intelligence team, you will build and manage a team of BI developers and data analysts who build Business Intelligence tools and lead analytics that help our business answer critical questions.   You will be a key contributor in developing, understanding, and completing strategic goals to drive customer success through sales, onboarding, engagement, and usage.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and develop a small team of BI developers and data analysts with a range of tenures
  • Oversee development of complex Power BI dashboards and business intelligence tools by your team including providing guidance on the overall data model approach, reviewing code and ensuring all outputs deliver high fidelity and an impactful visual experience for users
  • Establish team standards and operating procedures for ensuring consistent, high velocity and best in class dashboard and reporting development
  • Provide guidance to data engineers on database table and view development
  • Utilize SQL to query large data sets, perform analyses, build data models and create custom views to answer key outstanding questions for our business

What you need to succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • 2+ years team management experience
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience as an engineer doing ETL work in an Individual Contributor capacity; Python knowledge is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience building dashboards and reports with a min of 2 years experience using the Microsoft Power BI platform specifically; Microsoft Power Apps experience is a plus
  • Strong experience using SQL to extract data, understand data structures, and run queries in a data warehouse environment
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail
  • Tenacious problem solver with a strong ownership and “driver” mindset
  • Ability to coordinate with colleagues and stakeholders across the globe
  • Record of consistently meeting deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with an ability to successfully lead through ambiguity and prioritize multiple projects and partners
