The Opportunity

Adobe for Edu team India is seeking a strong professional who believes in education technology and the impact of Adobe’s products (Adobe Express) to ignite digital fluency and creativity skills to help students become future ready.

As we look to the future, skills are more relevant than degrees - we are looking for a strong professional to work on a mission mode project to develop curriculum that can be integrated into main-stream for certification and build a community of educators and students in India.

What you'll Do

You'll pioneer efforts to create courses, learning experiences, micro-credential programs and certification that leads to tangible, measurable skills. Your programs will ensure development of skills and learning outcome for students to pursue their dream jobs, careers, and passion. You are expected to have a deep understanding of India’s Education Policy, National Skills Framework, NCERT curriculum, Swayam and Diksha platform of Government of India. Your knowledge of Adobe products will be a value add to the role to create courses on Animation, Graphic Design, UI/UX, Video and Web.

Responsibilities include:

  • Define learning and credential journeys and partner with marketing, product, engineering to ensure the value of Adobe student learning and certifications is clear and compelling.
  • Drive teacher training programs ‘Adobe Creative Educator’ to expand the network of educator influencers in India to drive adoption of Adobe Express in respective schools.
  • Curate byte size content customised for Indian context from Adobe education exchange (https://edex.adobe.com/)

  • Integrate curriculum on Govt platforms (Swayam, Diksha or any other) for wider adoption by students
  • Work closely with CBSE and AICTE to come with credit allocation and assessment framework for K-12 and Higher Education.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that engage both internal and external audiences
  • Design program success and tracking systems to deliver practical insights and guide decisions
  • Effectively plan and manage budgets, resources, vendors and partners to achieve results.
  • Continually assess market needs and opportunities, adjusting product and program priorities.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to integrate product updates and key features in the curriculum and assessment rubrics.

What Skills you need to be successful in this role:  

  • Minimum of Bachelors in a relevant field. Additional diploma or certification in education pedagogy would be preferred.
  • 8 – 10 years of work experience in education, certification within a skilling, training, or in an edtech environment, including experience of managing external agencies, vendors, and content partners
  • Experience with designing or building content to be hosted on Learning Management System (LMS) solutions, including working with respective stakeholders
  • Track user success metrics in various ways, including course actions, surveys, and evaluation metrics or any other to report number of students registered and certified.  
  • Domain expertise on effective instructional design, course development, and assessment and certification practices and how to define and measure successful outcomes for students and educators.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively.
  • Experience presenting in front of groups.
  • Motivated self-starter capable of taking initiative and negotiating tough situations
  • Basic project management and excellent communication skills
  • Growth mindset that embraces a diverse set of backgrounds, ideas and experiences to put inclusion globally at the heart of learning experiences.
