The opportunity  

Generative AI is the next ground-breaking wave of technology and companies are looking for Adobe's help to unlock its outstanding potential. Adobe is at the forefront of Generative AI and Artificial Intelligence. We are searching for an intellectually broad and adventurous individual to build Adobe’s thought leadership in AI. 

 

As an AI strategist, you will research AI trends, author perspectives and presentations on questions related to AI, and share your insights with customers and the market. You will also collaborate with a diverse ecosystem including marketing, product, sales, legal, and partners to develop our AI messaging and nurture customer relationships. This high-visibility role will reside within the Americas Enterprise Sales organization and be part of our Digital Strategy Group. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

Produce original research on AI trends and topics of importance to a senior executive audience. For example, what are the use cases for generative AI that drive business value? How will AI shape the future of personalization? How should companies navigate its legal and ethical issues? 

Author compelling presentations and whitepapers that resonate with senior executives, drawing from your research and other sources. 

Bring these perspectives to our customers at scale through conferences, events, webinars, marketing, media, enablement of Adobe field teams, partners, and other channels. 

Advise senior customers and Adobe account teams, representing many of the world's leading brands. 

Collaborate with teams across Adobe (e.g., product, marketing, sales, etc.) to craft Adobe's messaging on AI and positioning of our offerings. 

 

What you need to succeed  

Evident intellectual curiosity for artificial intelligence and ability to rapidly absorb new information, inclusive of the foundational technologies, business use cases, economic value, competitive landscape, and major legal, ethical and social questions 

10 plus years of experience and accomplishment related to artificial Intelligence which may come from any field (e.g., computer science, cognitive science, economics, law, philosophy

Exceptional written communication skills with experience authoring thought provoking points-of-view for a general or business audience

Outstanding executive presence and presentation skills with the ability to inspire and engage senior level executives

Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations. Ideally, with experience conducting academic or market research, including design of surveys 

Highly collaborative with ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment. 

Willingness to travel up to 30% 

Success will be driven by producing high quality research and perspectives that garner attention with our customer base, thereby nurturing sales for our AI product portfolio.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $137,300 -- $247,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
