Adobe Marketo Engage, within Adobe DX is the world’s largest marketing automation platform, is a singular solution that lets enterprises attract, segment and nurture customers — from discovery to the biggest fan. It lets enterprises do effective engagement through various surfaces and touchpoints.

We are looking for strong and passionate leader to join our team as we scale the business by building the next gen products and contributing to our existing offerings. In this role you will closely partner with your teams, product managers and leadership to define and implement the roadmap. You will handle interaction with customers (directly as well as through customer success team) all over the globe, understand their needs and exceed their expectations through innovation and selection of right technology.

What you’ll do

• Spearhead multiple teams and deliver extraordinary products, with the help of multi-tiered managers reporting to you
• Be an inspiring leader for the BU, Lead the team comprising of individuals and managers who deliver high-performance web services that are adaptable to multifaceted business needs, influence ideation & outstanding problem solving
• Define and apply best-practices to build maintainable and modular solutions with high quality
• Partner with global product management, UX, engineering and operations teams to help shape technical product architecture & practices, roadmap and release plans
• Mentor and guide successful engineering teams
• Craft a positive winning culture built on collaboration and shared accomplishments
• Lead the discussions on emerging industry technologies & trends and work with the team & leadership  to influence product direction
• Interact regularly with customers, establish relationships at the right level
• Drive strategy, architecture and development goals for various products using customer requirements and business goals
• Ensure all products and solutions are delivered within the committed schedule and challenge the team to constantly innovate.
• Review, approve and supervise project plans and schedules of products
• Ensure right staffing of each development team
• Act as a catalyst to foster innovation within the team
• Evangelize your products both internally and externally
• Ensure alignment to Adobe policies and processes for product development as well as people management
• Encourage interaction across teams, ensure reuse of technologies across products, wherever possible

What you need to succeed

• Passion and love of what you do!
• More than 18 years’ experience working in software development and engineering leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-impact projects
• Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams and fostering an innovative and collaborative environment
• Experience in leading and building large scale distributed systems, working with microservices and/or distributed architecture
• Experience in developing and building solutions/services using Java, J2EE, Sprint Boot, React and cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)
• Experience in working with MongoDB, Cassandra, Solr, ElasticSearch, Snowflak
• Self-starter, passion to delight customers, willingness to walk above and beyon
• Ambitious and not afraid to tackle unknowns, demonstrates a strong bias to action
• Self-motivated with a desire to mentor a large team and drive the team to accomplish high-quality deliverables
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, encourage, and empower others
• B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a premiere institute
