The Opportunity 

Join Adobe’s Privacy Office and Cybersecurity Legal Team (POCL), reporting to the Chief Cyber Legal and Privacy Officer, to provide strategic ownership of our privacy compliance program You’ll work closely with colleagues across the world on privacy questions and will have the opportunity to influence how we continue to develop our privacy compliance program. What You'll Do 

Serve as (i) global privacy compliance principal and (ii) senior liaison to HR and Global Head of Employment Law, primary point of contact within POCL and coordinator for global employee privacy questions working with regional POCL counsel in Americas, EMEA and AsiaPac: 

Privacy Compliance 

  • Manage POCL policies and related documents, including incorporating new and existing legal requirements and guidance into privacy policies, standards, procedures, and program requirements.  
  • Assist in development and deployment of privacy training. 
  • Serve as escalation for Individual Rights Requests. 
  • ROPA Management. 
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries, including from regulators and clients. 
  • Prepare other supporting documentation such as manager and employee communications, FAQs, and standard operating processes. 
  • Handle other privacy compliance related projects as needs arise, to provide continuous improvement to privacy compliance program. 

Employee POC 

  • Coordinate and drive cross-stakeholder alignment regarding privacy and data protection on global employee privacy matters. 

    • Provide advice to Adobe Talent to help them attract, hire and engage top talent. 
    • Conduct privacy reviews in consultation with Privacy Legal counsel of new  technologies to be used by Adobe employees. 

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

  • J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant privacy experience, including prior in-house experience. 

  • Expertise in global privacy compliance. 

  • Familiarity with global employment privacy laws. 

  • Understanding of and curiosity about the tools and technologies employed by global businesses. 

  • Collaborated and driven commitments to deliver privacy solutions with meaningful impact. 

  • Earned the respect of peers and managers for ability to grasp difficult technical challenges and invent practical, sustainable solutions. 

  • Work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations. 

  • Worked successfully in a very fast-paced environment. 

  • Used metrics to drive the right outcome. 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $111,700 -- $267,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
