What you'll Do

Adobe established a Global Payments and Billing business function in 2020, and we are recruiting a team of business professionals to drive our strategy and payment partnerships to the next level. As a leader with vision in the CNP space, you will focus on optimizing approval rates across multiple geographies and products. Internally, you will collaborate with Product and Operational teams to ensure critical monitoring supports immediate identification and restoration of issues impacting our customers and business. Externally, you will partner with acquirers, issuers and providers to support our vision for a “best in class” payments function. With many opportunities in front you, this role requires “big picture” thinking to prioritize high value opportunities and develop innovative ways to solving problems in the payment space.

What you need to succeed

  • Forge new and elevate existing strategic relationships with card networks, acquirers and other alternative payment providers
  • Overseeing the commercial terms and business relationships that drives value for Adobe
  • Do you enjoy building relationships with the top issuing banks in key Adobe markets? You will have the opportunity to help influence them on the Adobe business and to collaborate on innovative ways to achieve payment optimizations.
  • Partner with various internal groups including Product, Treasury, Payment Operations, Risk Operations and Regional Business teams to derive actionable insights to drive acquisition, retention and operational cost save metrics.
  • Stay current on evolving industry trends in the payments space to develop new strategies, find opportunities with partners and build the required analytically based cases to bring those visions to life.
  • Define, own and drive the core metrics enabling global payments success

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of payments experience with a processor, merchant, acquiring or issuing bank, or one of the global networks. Ideally, you will possess business development and/or strategy experience that drove enduring alliances in payments.
  • Ability to lead through influence and to drive opportunities through a matrixed, consensus driven organization - across Product, Finance, Treasury, Marketing, Operations, Go-To-Market teams.
  • A deep understanding of the digital payment ecosystem and the dynamics of the SaaS subscription business with firsthand knowledge of the evolving challenges in the Card Not Present recur billing space.
  • A strong candidate will be Self-motivated, autonomous and view ambiguity as an opportunity to innovate
  • Able to translate complex topics into executive level communications that clearly communicate payment concepts in a way that is easy for others to understand.
  • Ability to build financial models and related scenario analyses, and a bias toward action based on facts. You will be able to move quickly while also maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and quality.
  • BA/BS required, MBA a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,000 -- $220,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
