The Adobe for Education K12 Institutions team helps schools and districts empower all students to be lifelong creators. We focus on driving proliferation and active use of Adobe tools within the K12 classroom and throughout the institution. From web-based creativity tools such as Adobe Express, to industry-standard tools that prepare students for the creative economy like Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, to administrative-facing productivity tools like Adobe Acrobat, the K12 team is committed to transforming educational institutions across the country. We are looking for a Head of Insights Strategy that will be our voice in collaborating with cross-functional teams, guiding on the framework that we should be reporting, and holding teams accountable for fulfilling those frameworks.

Our new Head of K12 Insights Strategy will lead the charge to bringing a common language to our disparate sources of inputs. They will engage with our K12 leadership team to create a reporting structure and feedback loop that ensures both experimentation and learning accelerate, and our ability to define and understand success as well as its drivers, accelerates as well. This role will require both industry knowledge as well as organizational strategy. It requires the ability to direct a vast team based on patterns and opportunities identified in the data.

What you'll do:

Build a common language, cadence, and reporting pattern for all of our K12 teams; determine an ideal framework for reporting and connecting our multiple data points into a learning process

Guide our multiple field teams- including Community, Content, Training, badging and field work, in structuring and executing on the experiments and timing that will drive our learning forward.

Build a bridge between our multiple inputs and the Express Data team, setting a structure for a working full-funnel dashboard to optimize and assess more efficiently, and in a language common to Adobe Express teams

Guide leadership on the right intermediary KPIs that we should anchor our field teams toward, and the right timing and communication to ensure we proceed toward success.

Hire and develop an analyst who will be the owner of the K12 budget, ensuring all teams have a way to track and understand their spend.

Strategic leadership on how we assess success, communicate success, and optimize as a team across our multiple levers, globally.

What you need to succeed:

BA required; graduate degree in business/strategy preferred

Analytical/statistical skills – validated in roles where identifying insights from pools of data and leading teams to execute based on those insights was critical to success

10+ years in roles driving strategy, with data-driven analysis and storytelling at the core

Exec-level communication skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required

Experience establishing new metrics for a business with uncertainty and complexity

Ability to collaborate with marketing, product and data teams across multiple geos with multiple mandates.

Experience leading high-performing teams to ensure growth and development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $134,800 -- $241,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
