The Opportunity

Adobe’s Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) organization delivers the foundation behind Adobe's groundbreaking and patented "data-driven operating model", and is responsible for delivering the Applied Data & Analytics products that power Adobe’s strategic decision making and customer experiences. EDA delivers real-time, operational, and analytical data capabilities using a variety of technology platforms to meet the needs of data scientists, analysts, engagement marketers, and executives. 

We are looking for a hard-working experienced Technical Data Systems Analyst to join the team responsible for the Enterprise Financial, Annual Recurring Revenue, and Retention applied data products and services. You will partner closely with finance, engineering, data science, and sales operations teams to understand data needs, and turn that knowledge into innovative and easy-to-use core data assets used across the company. This position will provide thought leadership and guide business adoption of data solutions.

What you’ll do 

  • Democratize data and insights as you strive to deliver self-service tools to your partners and enable them to make better, quicker decisions
  • Contribute to product strategy and vision for the Information and Data Services team, and build working relationships with partners to understand their data analytics needs and priorities, clarify objectives and clearly communicate plans.
  • Review customer analytic needs and transform them into clearly defined data engineering requirements, features and enhancements. 
  • Prioritize and lead end-to-end delivery of data solutions that integrate batched and streaming data sources.
  • Leverage Adobe’s strategic data assets to deliver trusted insights that drive business outcomes, promoting our data driven decision-making culture
  • Perform regular data querying and analysis for applied data analytic insights, customer engagement, predictions and recommendation solutions. 

What you need to succeed

  • Requires bachelor’s degree. Preferred candidates will have a major in computer science, MBA from reputable institution or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of data analytics, ‘data BSA’ or data product management experience with solid understanding of how to deliver data solutions in an agile environment
  • Strong proficiency in SQL/SparkSQL/Python to query and manipulate large data sets. Experience with platforms like Databricks, Power BI and Tableau. 
  • You are a self-starter, independent, hard worker, with a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand. You anticipate and creatively implement next steps in a complex environment
  • You have mastered the ability to influence outcomes, navigate, mediate to consensus with integrity. You possess great interpersonal communication, presentation skills, and social skills and a solid sense of humor. 
  • Data requirement writing skills: collecting, prioritizing, and gathering input from multiple sources, providing accurate requirements with attention to detail
  • You already know or can rapidly learn enterprise application capabilities in order to deliver transaction and event-driven data solutions (examples: SAP/HANA, MS Dynamics or Salesforce Data, ADLS/Hadoop/Databricks datalake/lakehouse solutions, and/or Kafka streams)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $101,300 -- $206,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
