The Opportunity

Are you looking to directly impact the security of our products? In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to identify and address our challenges with developing software. This will be done by facilitating open discussions, identifying trends and patterns, conducting research, and crafting guidance on various aspects, such as coding and security testing. The focus will be on delivering relevant and timely content directly to product teams, security partners, and security champions. You will help change the security landscape at Adobe and raise the standard for how we develop products!

What You’ll Do

  • Guide teams on how to keep security in mind early in the design phase and throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Identify areas to improve the domains and topics of instruction being provided.
  • Engage in conversation and collect feedback on challenges and barriers teams face with coding securely.
  • Help define and build preventative steps and processes to make our products and software more secure.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and events to guide teams in reducing the security vulnerabilities in our products.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A degree in computer science, related field or proven record in a cyber security related role.
  • An understanding of the software development process and the security requirements during the various phases.
  • A strong desire to research vulnerabilities and preventative measures.
  • The expertise to translate technical requirements from security frameworks into actionable steps.
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to convey ideas, concepts, and workflows to a wide range of audiences.
  • The capacity to discern root causes of development problems and write related technical articles.
