The Sr Product Marketing Manager for motion design and color is responsible for helping drive the future of motion graphics and color workflows across Adobe's flagship video applications. Through deep customer and product knowledge, you will ensure product/market fit, work with the product team to define the priorities for the product, assess product/feature readiness, and develop the messaging, launch, and Go-to-Market strategies that will accelerate awareness and use. Your ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into tangible benefits and value propositions are critical. We are looking for a teammate with deep knowledge of the video industry and strong interpersonal skills who can work with key cross functional partners across multiple teams.

What You'll Do

  • As the product and domain expert for motion design and color, guide product marketing strategy based on deep understanding of the product, customer, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop a data-driven perspective on customer needs and translate those insights into actions for partner teams including product and go to market.
  • Work closely with product management to help define product requirements, leveraging beta programs and customer feedback.
  • Conduct market research and user studies to inform decisions.
  • Take an active role in the go-to-market of Premiere Pro, After Effects and the Adobe video portfolio
     

What Will Help You Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree required with 6+ years of Product Marketing or relevant experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the video industry, specifically in motion design and/or color.
  • Strong storytelling, writing and public speaking skills.
  • Proven success working cross-functionally across product management, engineering, go-to-market, sales, etc.
  • Passion for developing solutions to ensure customer success, and an ability to clearly articulate decisions and insights to a wide range of audiences.
  • Highly organized and able to respond and prioritize requests from cross-functional teams.
  • Ambitious self-starter with a positive, upbeat demeanor.
  • Professional experience in motion design/color, SAAS, video products & services is a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,900 -- $201,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
