Opportunity

As a Senior Java Developer on our team here at Adobe, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable software solutions. Your expertise in Java programming and your passion for innovation will drive the success of our projects while aligning with our company's values.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze technical requirements and translate them into well-designed and efficient Java code.
- Design and implement software solutions that adhere to industry best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and sharing your knowledge to elevate the team's skills.
- Take ownership of end-to-end development processes, from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and improve existing applications, making recommendations for enhancements and performance tuning.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to decisions that align with the company's goal of creating future-oriented solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Java development, incorporating relevant technologies and practices into our projects.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex software systems.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward addressing challenges.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $119,000 -- $232,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
