The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a Program Manager to help the Adobe Analytics Product and Engineering teams achieve strategic objectives to build the next generation of Customer Journey Analytics features for the Adobe Digital Experience business.

In this role, you will be responsible for a mix of business analysis, reporting and general program management of engineering projects. From handling planning activities to driving process improvements, and communicating vertically and horizontally across the company, the team will rely on you to keep everyone informed. This role has a heavy focus on data analysis and reporting, with 70% of the role focused on reporting/dashboarding and 30% focused on managing software development projects.

You will improve collaboration, communication, execution, and alignment with core teams and partners across the Adobe Experience Cloud Ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a passion for data analysis and reporting along with a keen eye for detail. Also, previous experience managing software development projects and partnering with engineering, product, marketing, and finance departments is a plus. What you'll do:

  • Work with Program Management, Engineering, and Product leadership to keep critical dashboards and reporting up to date.
  • Build reports/dashboards that accurately convey answers to information requests.
  • Maintain status reports and dashboards on a frequent basis, working with senior leadership to validate the information that is being reported to leaders outside of Adobe Analytics.
  • Set schedules, and actively handle issues/risks of the programs.
  • Drive the coordination and management of dependencies with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to engineering and product leaders.
  • Find opportunities to enhance and simplify processes where possible.
  • Improve visibility and coordination across functions with clear communication.
  • Drive special projects or initiatives on behalf of the leadership team.

What you need to succeed:

  • Project/Program management experience leading software development programs
  • Be technically curious – understand learn how things work without being asked.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong social skills, including relationship building and collaboration within diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Working understanding of various development methodologies (including Agile) and the skills to understand and communicate technical details to team members.
  • An intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity and having a flexible and adaptive approach.
  • Analytical perspective to problem-solving, attention to detail organizational skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in JIRA (basic), Confluence Wiki (basic), Excel (Intermediate to Advanced).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, including project/program management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • PMP, CSM, Agile Training preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $96,400 -- $179,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
