We have a fantastic opportunity for a Web Architect to join our team based in Bucharest. As a Web Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the architectural framework for web applications that incorporate visually appealing and immersive graphical elements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and developers, to create scalable, high-performance, and visually stunning web solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Architectural Design: Develop and design the overall architectural framework for web applications that incorporate 2D and 3D graphics. Define system components, modules, and interfaces to ensure scalability, flexibility, and efficiency.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams. Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and stakeholders to establish technical standards, coding conventions, and best practices related to graphics integration.

• Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to identify opportunities for enhancing web development processes. Make recommendations on technology stack, graphics libraries, and best practices to optimize system performance and maintainability.

• Performance Optimization: Optimize performance to ensure smooth and responsive user experiences.

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with designers, artists, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into architectural solutions. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, guidelines, and best practices related to graphics integration.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Web Architect or a Senior Full-Stack Developer.

• Strong knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, WebComponents, or Angular..

• Knowledge about typography, fonts and related technologies is a advantage.

• Proficiency in graphics technologies, such as WebGL, WebGPU, Canvas, SVG, or Babylon.js is a plus.

• Experience with C++ and WebAssembly would be plus.

• Solid understanding of web architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices related to graphics integration.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and their associated services.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to graphics integration.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
