Our Company

Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The opportunity:

From the moment you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night consider the media you consume, the adverts you see, the apps you use, the websites you browse and almost all of the shopping you do online throughout the day. Chances are that every single one of those interactions, every single one of those experiences, was touched by an Adobe product.

The Adobe Analytics platform processes 20+ billion transactions on a daily basis and delivers reporting data to customers throughout the world. The Adobe Analytics team is seeking a dedicated and passionate Principal Product Manager to join our team in Bucharest. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, product marketing managers and user experience groups. You will have the opportunity to create and influence the roadmap for solutions handling Big Data for enterprise customers worldwide.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate closely with our clients to gain deep insights into their customers' experiences and journeys, enabling us to tailor and enhance content for maximum personalization and optimization.

  • Identify main use cases and challenges and clearly articulate these to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate, build and drive a strategy to find solutions to these challenges with other product managers, engineering managers, and business leaders in a cross-organization effort between teams who might have different perspective, motivations, and objectives.

  • Empower engineers in deciding how to prioritize and actively prune feature development, as well as ongoing system optimization.

  • Train sales, support and consulting teams in how to sell, troubleshoot and demonstrate the new technology being developed.

  • Lead cross-team communication and dependency alignments

  • Communicate clearly the value of new features to unlock the go to market efforts

  • Bring data, strategic insight and context into product proposals to influence team members and build consensus for key decisions

  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that engage both internal and external audiences

  • Stay up to date with the competitive landscape, by having an excellent understanding of were your product sits in the market and what are the competitors

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 5+ years experience as a formal Product Manager.

  • Comfortable with tools of software development: Goldmine, Forrester, Qualtrics, Jira, Atlassian, Github (or equivalent)

  • Experience in identifying new product opportunities and driving them to completion.

  • Strong customer empathy and proven engagement with customers and partners.

  • Ability to present complex ideas clearly and to rally people around a vision.

  • Outstanding communication skills with both local and remote teams.

  • Ability to work in a team setting and/or independently as needed; self-starter.

  • Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing market dynamics. Knowing the sweet spot between “getting it done” and building a sustainable product.

  • Capable of making sound decisions with incomplete or imperfect data; proven track record of assessing tradeoffs, thoughtfully prioritizing initiatives, and maintaining a bias for action.

  • Technical enough. You work with engineers to understand how our data is modeled and how it flows through our system, and can influence the technical strategy using business outcomes.

  • You're a data-driven problem solver. You build a hypothesis and test it with data.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Highly collaborative working style.

Bonus

  • Knowledgeable with any analytics or BI product

  • Management experience for a team of product people
