The Opportunity

Adobe has a wealth of more than 25000 spectacular fonts and choosing the right one for the job might be a daunting experience for a designer.
The Adobe Fonts team in Bucharest makes this task easier by offering a state-of-the-art font discovery experience that makes finding the perfect font simple and efficient.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Front End Developer to join our Adobe Fonts team based in Bucharest, Romania.
Position Summary
In this role you work with a group of software development engineers to expand the Creative Cloud and Adobe Fonts business. You will contribute to your team's efforts in areas like user interface, design, layout, text and rendering to name a few. You will be involved in high visibility components within Adobe, working on innovative products that reach millions of users.
What you will do:
You will work with a team of world class engineers being responsible for all aspects of implementation, quality assurance, continuous integration and deployment, and application monitoring.
Design & implement new features and performance improvements, while keeping a strong customer focus and high-quality standards
Be part of an agile, highly collaborative and passionate team
Work closely with experience designers, product managers to ensure the product meets customer expectations and adheres to high usability and security standards
What you will need to succeed:
B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3+ years as a software engineer working on commercial software
Excellent knowledge of web standards and technologies ( HTML , CSS , Javascript/TypeScript , HTTP, React )
Outstanding verbal and written English communication
Strong working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design patterns
Strong customer empathy and demonstrated engagement with customers and partners to truly delight users
Experience with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum
Very strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, especially OOP, data structures, and design patterns
