The opportunity

The Adobe Photoshop web team is in search of a dedicated and highly skilled developer with a positive outlook. As an integral member of our core engineering team, you will take charge of shaping features to life from start to finish. You'll thrive in our dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, collaborating closely with fellow developers, quality engineers, designers, and product managers. Your role as a developer is pivotal in delivering an exceptional user experience, and we expect nothing less than excellence in your work. What you will do

• Consistently produce top-tier, resilient features and take ownership of them.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Engineers, Product Management, and User Experience Designers across geographical boundaries to deliver the "Adobe magic."
• Pioneer and develop innovative functionalities within the digital imaging field.
• Implement comprehensive automation and unit tests to ensure thorough code validation.
• Conduct thoughtful and constructive code reviews for your colleagues.
• Serve as a mentor and exemplar for fellow engineers, setting a high standard for performance and professionalism.

What you need to succeed

• Holder of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science.
• Accumulated 4-6 years of extensive development experience.
• Possesses an expert-level command of modern JS frameworks and web technologies.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of C++ and exceptional programming fundamentals.
• Proficiently navigates both Mac OS and Windows OS, in addition to web-based frameworks.
• Proficient in profiling, debugging, and testing complex systems.
• Self-driven, with a natural inclination and aptitude for swiftly mastering new technologies and adapting to evolving requirements and environments.
• Showcases outstanding problem-solving abilities.
• Experienced in working within Agile methodologies.
• Possesses the knack for innovation and can devise creative solutions to challenges within the digital imaging realm.
• Effectively communicates technical intricacies to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Comfortable navigating through ambiguity and possesses the agility to pivot and embrace new technologies based on acquired knowledge.
